Literacy is the focus for this fall!

The ZPS Education Foundation Board is making K-12 literacy a focus for the 2011-2012 school year.  Each of Zeeland’s 10 schools will receive $1,000 to use for a specific learning project that improves student literacy. GPS: the new hide and seek

The rules to hide-and-seek have changed. Fourth and fifth graders at Zeeland Public Schools recently had to find five hidden caches of candy, and they did it scientifically: by entering latitude and longitude coordinates into hand-held GPS units provided by the Zeeland Public Schools Education Foundation.
